Situated in Erskineville, Union Street Yoga is filled with natural light and lush plants, and it feels like a peaceful urban oasis tucked away behind the hustle and bustle of nearby King Street. When yogi and studio owner, Steven asked me earlier this year to do a portrait and branding photoshoot to refresh the images for his yoga studio website and socials, I jumped at the opportunity. The brief was friendly, natural and cohesive imagery that would reflect the studio brand, feel and unique approach.

I get it – my kids are wild and crazy most of the time and most likely yours are too. You may be worried they won’t be able to sit still or behave for a photo session. Well, the good news is they don’t have to!

It was my absolute privilege to create a series of editorial style portraits of Sydney-based artist, Holly Dormor. Holly is a multidisciplinary artist known for her intricate sculptures and pen and ink drawings of small creatures, miniature dioramas exploring memory and daily life, and most recently painting, primarily within the still life genre.

Learning to ride a bike is one of those unforgettable moments in life. It's exciting and slightly scary when kids are off and riding bikes under their own steam. So it was with pleasure that I documented these champion fledgling bike riders revelling in their newfound freedom to explore the world.
