Or maybe you’re building a business — one that’s grown from a spark of an idea into something you’re deeply passionate about. That’s where I come in. I photograph families, creatives and small businesses across Sydney’s Inner West, Eastern Suburbs and beyond. I create honest, artful portraits that don’t feel fake. My sessions are simple and personal with space to breathe, connect, and be your real and unapologetically unique self.

Hey, I’m Verity Gill, a Sydney family, motherhood, and brand photographer and mum of two wildlings.
I live and work on Gadigal land in Sydney’s Inner West. but I take photos all over Sydney. With over 18 years experience, I have photographed everything from family portraits to weddings and events, headshots for small business and not for-profits, personal branding and production stills for artists, musicians and creatives.
I know being photographed can feel awkward — most of my clients tell me that before we even start. So I make it easy. Every session feels relaxed and comfortable, like spending time with a friend who happens to have a camera. I’ll help you choose a location that feels right — maybe your home, a favourite park, or a bright local café. I focus on the present moment, capturing what unfolds naturally but I’ll guide you when needed with just enough gentle direction so you feel confident.
